Welshmill Dental Practice

Introducing the Practice

We are a friendly
well-established team

We see patients from the local area and from far and wide, including Italy and France. Ok, we know they come back to visit family but it’s nice to know they’d rather come back to us than find a dentist closer to home!

Our dentists cover everything from general dentistry, cosmetic procedures including crowns and bridges, implants, clear tray and clear wire orthodontics and dentures amongst other things.

We can make mouth guards for snoring, grinding and sport.

We know many people are nervous and would rather spend their time somewhere else. We see a lot of nervous patients, some who have always had sedation due to nerves. We can refer you for sedation, but over time it becomes easier with most opting not to have sedation at all.

We have a hygienist at the practice every day and can also offer direct access hygiene sessions (you can book this without first seeing a dentist for a prescription).

Our car park is large with disabled access and we have a lower surgery.

Meet The Team

Dentists

Dominic Malone

Owner/Partner of Welshmill Dental Practice. Dentist, GDC 74954
Dominic qualified from Guys Hospital London in 1998 and returned home to Frome and Welshmill Dental Practice in 2005. He has a special interest in cosmetic and complex restorative treatments including the restoration of dental implants. He’s passionate about his patients’ long-term wellbeing and performing pain and amalgam free dentistry wherever possible. He is committed to ongoing professional development and uses the latest techniques to provide the highest level of dental care. Outside of Dentistry he’s a father, surfer, skier and successful racing driver.

Chris Park

Owner/Partner of Welshmill Dental Practice. Dentist, GDC 78125
Chris doesn't like drilling teeth any more than his patients like having them drilled. This is why one of his main principles is to focus on minimally invasive and preventative dentistry. He also tries to avoid amalgam fillings – he doesn’t like their appearance, the fact they can cause teeth to crack and certainly doesn't like the associated health risks. Chris’ philosophy in life is to do everything to the very best of his abilities… he reflects this in his role as a dentist.

Rosemary Care

Dentist, GDC 68781
Rosemary graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1993. After working in the West Midlands for several years she joined Welshmill in 2001. Rosemary has a keen interest in restorative dentistry and treating nervous patients. She is a firm believer in taking a holistic, preventative and patient centred approach to dental care. Away from the practice Rosemary is married with 2 sons. She is a keen runner, completing several half marathons, loves sport, cooking and travel.

Gregory Wootton

Dentist, GDC 85954
Gregory graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2005. He worked in a well-established family Practice in London until 2016 where he gained extensive experience focusing on all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including short term orthodontics and composite bonding. He qualified as an implantologist in 2010. Since then he has continued to learn the latest techniques in implant dentistry. Through this ongoing education process, Greg’s patients benefit as his skills continue to improve.
