Rachel Shuwn Kit Chan - Dentist

Rachel joined the Welshmill team in 2026 and enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in smile transformations, extractions, teeth whitening, and ClearCorrect aligners.

She began her academic journey by completing a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at King's College London before studying Dentistry at Newcastle University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Following dental foundation training in Twyford, Rachel completed a year of Dental Core Training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. During this time, she successfully passed her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) examination with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Committed to providing the highest standard of care, Rachel regularly attends courses and conferences to expand her knowledge, develop her skills, and stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles and enjoys working closely with each individual to create personalised treatment plans that meet their needs.

Outside of dentistry, Rachel loves travelling, exploring new countries, and learning about different cultures.
